Clark A. Binkley
Clark A. Binkley is the Managing Attorney at Richman Law & Policy where he oversees complex litigation in the areas of civil rights, consumer protection, food policy, and animal welfare. He also works as counsel to many progressive nonprofit organizations. Clark has secured victories for clients fighting police misconduct, food contamination, and factory farming. He strives to develop creative legal solutions to injustices that are not being addressed through legislation and conventional litigation.
Clark received his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.A. in History from University of California, Berkeley. During law school, Clark was a Summer Associate in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division. He also worked with the Center for Constitutional Rights, and participated in the civil rights litigation clinic with the New York Civil Liberties Union.
Prior to joining RLP, Clark represented local unions at a small labor and employment law firm in New York City, advocating on behalf of unions and employee benefits. He has a long history of fighting for the public good, including in his former career as a public school teacher.
Clark is admitted to practice in New York. Outside of RLP, Clark volunteers with the New York Democratic Lawyers Council and is the social outreach liaison for New York State for the National Association of Consumer Advocates.
