Renee P. Wicklund
Senior Of Counsel
P. Renée Wicklund works of counsel to Richman Law & Policy. Her work focuses on the domestic food supply, including issues of pesticide use, environmental health, and the welfare of farmed animals. Renée strives to ensure consumers have honest information regarding their food choices, and the knowledge to protect their, and their families’, health.
Before joining RLP, Renée worked more than a decade with one of the nation’s largest law firms, where she specialized in mass torts and franchise law. She also clerked for the Hon. Fortunato P. Benavides, United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.
Renée received her J.D. from The Yale Law School, where she was a Coker Fellow, managing editor of The Yale Law Journal, and executive editor of Yale Journal of Law & the Humanities. She also holds an MFA in writing from Sarah Lawrence College; a master’s in religious studies from the Divinity School of the University of Chicago; and her bachelor’s degree in religion, German literature, and magazine from Syracuse University, where she was class marshal.
Renée is admitted to practice in California and in Illinois (inactive). Outside of RLG, she serves as vice-president of the Metropolitan New York Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). She dedicates herself to cheering for the New York Rangers.
