James is a legal intern at Richman Law & Policy where he supports all practice areas with legal research and writing. His work focuses primarily on environmental justice and protecting consumers from greenwashing.
James is a second-year law student at the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC, where he is studying environmental and international law in the hopes of pursuing a career holding polluters accountable and promoting environmental justice. This summer, he worked in the United States Senate for Senator Cory Booker, where he was able to work on a range of policy issues and draft legislation. Prior to law school, he participated in the Coro Fellowship Program in Public Affairs in Los Angeles, interviewing hundreds of policy experts and political leaders and working at six different organizations in nine months. James' background is in political science, particularly environmental policy and international relations.
James received his BA from Northwestern University in Political Science and is currently pursuing his JD. He is from Los Angeles, California.
