Shannon Zience
Managing Attorney
Shannon Zience is a Managing Attorney at Richman Law & Policy, where she focuses on the firm’s Human Rights and Public Health initiatives as well as general counsel relationships. Her work is rooted in protecting children, focusing on cases that aim to ensure future generations grow up in a healthy natural environment, have access to clean and nutritious food, and flourish in caring communities.
Prior to joining RLP, Shannon served as a Supply Chain Legal Advisor for one of the world’s largest aerospace corporations. She also spent seven years as an Acquisition Attorney at the Federal Aviation Administration, where she managed the acquisition of numerous large, nationwide government contracts and oversaw mediation and litigation arising from their awards. Earlier in her career, Shannon was an associate attorney in Wooster, Ohio, where she primarily advised small farmers on complex estate planning, real estate matters, and business succession strategies.
Shannon earned her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude with a Certificate of Concentration in Public Law: Public and Regulatory Institutions with Honors. She was the Notes Editor for the Case Western Journal of International Law and a Senior Editor for the War Crimes Prosecution Watch: Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
Shannon also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Gannon University, where she graduated magna cum laude and was a two-time All-American lacrosse player.
