About the Role
This position is a full-time Law & Policy Analyst position with Richman Law & Policy. The Analyst supports the firm’s litigation and policy work through research and case development while helping coordinate the operational needs that keep a boutique impact-litigation practice running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for a pre-law candidate or early-career professional seeking hands-on exposure to public interest litigation and policy advocacy.
Responsibilities
The Law & Policy Analyst plays an active role in supporting the firm's litigation, policy, and case-development work, including:
Researching factual issues for case development;
Assisting attorneys with litigation and policy efforts;
Assisting with tracking product and laboratory testing for potential matters;
Coordinating with outside vendors, including testing laboratories and consultants;
Organizing and filing case documents within the firm's file system;
Assisting with filing, transmitting, and processing legal documents;
Tracking laboratory and product testing for case-starting and potential matters;
Communicating with clients, potential clients, and partner organizations;
Conducting client intake;
Maintaining the firm's meeting calendars and scheduling external calls and meetings;
Maintaining the firm's contacts and partner relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree;
0–2 years of relevant experience in a legal, policy, advocacy, or research setting (or equivalent internship experience);
Strong research and analytical skills;
Excellent writing and organizational skills;
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines;
Familiarity (preferred) with Clio, Google Calendar, Microsoft Office, LEXIS, and PACER/ECF.
The ideal candidate is passionate about repairing the world, improving corporate accountability, and has a demonstrated interest in public interest law and policy. This role is well suited to candidates considering law school or a career in advocacy.
Additional Details
Start Date: Fall 2026 (negotiable)
Salary: $40,000 – $50,000 (depending upon experience)
