About the Role
This position is a full-time paralegal position with Richman Law & Policy. Because we are a boutique firm, the Paralegal will be involved in all stages of a case’s lifecycle and will work closely with attorneys on meaningful, high-impact litigation from day one. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a central role in public interest litigation and to develop substantive legal skills in a mission-driven environment.all attorneys at the firm, and assisting with various administrative tasks and research support.
Responsibilities
The Paralegal plays an active role in all aspects of the firm’s practice, including:
Cite-checking and copyediting legal documents;
Preparing and organizing case files for attorneys;
Filing, transmitting, and processing legal documents in state and federal courts;
Maintaining the firm’s litigation calendar and tracking court deadlines;
Overseeing the administrative assistant;
Researching factual issues for case development;
Assisting with legal research and policy efforts; and
Draft, proofread, and format correspondence and other firm documents with precision and attention to detail;
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate;
0–2 years of litigation support experience;
Strong writing, proofreading, and cite-checking skills (Bluebook proficiency preferred);
Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines;
Strong interpersonal skills and comfort communicating with clients and outside partners;
Familiarity (preferred) with Clio, Google Calendar, Microsoft Office, LEXIS, and PACER/ECF.

Salary: $50,000–$60,000
