Cailen LaBarge is Of Counsel at Richman Law & Policy. Her work is focused on animal welfare and environmental sustainability claims, with the goal of increased transparency and accountability within our food system.
Cailen is co-founder of Strategies for Ethical and Environmental Development (SEED), a non-profit organization operating in the US and Brazil. SEED’s mission is to dismantle capital-intensive, industrial animal agriculture while advocating for a just transition that is equitable and sustainable for animals, people, and the planet. In addition to her work with RLP and SEED, Cailen serves on the boards of Sentient Media and Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary.
Cailen received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. She is admitted to practice in New York, Massachusetts, and the Northern District of New York.
