Emalie Herberger

Associate and Litigation Fellow

Emalie is an Associate and Litigation Fellow at Richman Law & Policy. Her work focuses on animal welfare and environmental sustainability.

Prior to joining RLP, Emalie worked as a judicial law clerk in the District of Columbia. Emalie received her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School where she was actively involved in the animal law program and was a managing editor of the Journal of Environmental and Energy Law. Emalie worked as a legal intern for the Humane Society of the United States and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and was a student attorney in GW Law’s Prisoner & Reentry Clinic and Family Justice Litigation Clinic.

Prior to law school, Emalie graduated from Canisius University with an honors degree in English and Creative Writing and minor in Spanish.

Emalie is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia.
